As a smaller guard, though, your training has to be top-notch. There's no room for wasted days, inefficient workouts, and guesswork. The Small Guard Essentials Program makes sure of that for you.

I've been able to work with and be around some of the best undersized guards in the world, and there's one common factor between all of them: they're like a Swiss army knife. There is no doubt in anyone's mind who the most skilled player on the court is. And that's exactly what we pursue in this 3-month program.

You'll walk out of the gym on your last day of the program feeling exponentially more confident, and ready for anything. I'm ready to take you to the next level. Now it's just on you!

WHAT YOU GET:

36 skill-focused workouts: on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday of each week, you'll tackle a workout that is focused on building one of our 18 foundational skill at the heart of becoming a successful undersized guard! Each will be done twice over the course of the three months!

24 all-around workouts: on Tuesday Thursday, you'll then sharpen your all-around game with a more broad workout that covers a variety of focuses. This creates a perfect balance between specific skill-focused workouts and all-around workouts.

Recovery, mobility, meditation, and extra workouts: it's more than just the training. At the end of each week of intense training, we ensure that you're able to recharge and maximize your hard-earned results. Plus, take advantage of our additional workouts on the Virtual Academy App!

Exclusive videos: on par with the classic "Attention to Detail" series, Coleman has produced hours of content exclusive to the Small Guard Essentials Program to take your results to the next level and become a student of the game!

  • ​You'll understand and apply the techniques that the best undersized guards use to be so successful. Not only do we study these in the additional videos, but apply them on a day-to-day basis.

  • You'll play better in-game. This program is aimed towards real-game transfer, not just getting better at the drills themselves! As a result, although there will always be a slight lag, these physical and mental skills will transfer into your real games.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

How is the program organized? The program is 12 weeks, 5 days per week. Monday, Wednesday, and Friday are focused on specific skills, whereas Tuesday and Thursday are all-around workouts focusing on a variety of skills.. Keep in mind that these don't have to go perfectly in accordance with the days of the week, and can be scrambled, adjusted, and mixed up however fits your schedule!

What resources do I need? In an ideal world, a half court, a basketball, and one day a week, a partner. 4 of the 5 weekly workouts are designed to do individually, and just one is to be done with a partner (for skills that are quite difficult to work on without defense, like finishing with contact). But, even if you don't have a partner, don't stress for that one day. We always have an alternative for you!

What skill level is it designed for? Each drill can be adjusted based on skill level. Each drill has progressions and regressions, and we empower you to make the workouts more or less difficult based on your current level. Beginners and professionals alike have tested the program and both have seen results!

Can I combine the program with another? Yes, without a doubt. It's actually meant to be this way! This is a completely skill-focused programs, which means it can be paired with any of our performance programs like the Lockdown Defender Program

Can I do the program during my season? It all depends on the athlete, but the answer is 99% time a resounding yes, as long as you listen to your body. Cut out some reps. Shorten some workouts. If done right, this could be the best possible way to keep your skills sharp during the season.

Are there refunds? No refunds are accepted on Virtual Academy programs.
